Seafarer Documentation, Certification & Endorsement Support

A.N.D. coordinates documentation and endorsement processes against the applicable requirements of the flag administration and the seafarer’s intended assignment. Support may include the following, subject to the relevant flag’s rules and the scope agreed with the client:

Certificates of Competency (CoC) and Certificates of Proficiency (CoP): document collection, checklist review and coordination of applications or recognition processes where applicable.
Flag-state endorsements and recognition: coordination of endorsement or recognition documentation and follow-up on application status
STCW and training records: review and tracking of relevant certificates, course records and validity dates against assignment requirements.
Seafarer identity and service documents: coordination of passport, Seafarer’s Identity Document, seaman’s book or discharge-book documentation where required.
Medical fitness documentation: tracking and follow-up of medical certificates required for the proposed assignment
Expiry and renewal tracking: maintaining document-status records, identifying upcoming expiries and following up on outstanding items.
Pre-joining document checks: checking the availability and apparent completeness of documents against the client’s checklist before mobilization.

All certificate issuance, recognition, endorsements and approvals remain subject to the requirements and decisions of the relevant flag-state authorities. A.N.D.’s role is to provide coordination and follow-up within its agreed scope and applicable authorisations.
